GoGobo is a free tool for comparing moving light fixtures. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

GoGobo collects minimal data to operate the site:

• Anonymous usage analytics — pages visited, features used, device type, and browser family. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Local storage — your tool state (power calculator, DMX planner, rider manager, compare selections) is saved in your browser only. We do not have access to this data unless you explicitly use the “Save & Share” feature.
• Shared plans — when you use Save & Share, your plan data is stored on our server with a random short code. Plans contain only fixture selections and configuration — no personal information. Plans that have not been accessed for 30 days may be automatically deleted.

What we don't collect

• Names, email addresses, or account information (there are no accounts)
• IP addresses (used transiently for rate limiting, never stored or logged)
• Precise geographic location
• Payment or financial information
• Any form of user-generated content beyond shared plans

Third parties

We do not share any data with third parties. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. The site is hosted on Railway (infrastructure) and Vercel or similar (frontend). These providers may process server logs as part of standard infrastructure operation, subject to their own privacy policies.

Cookies and local storage

GoGobo uses browser local storage rather than traditional cookies. For full details on what is stored and why, see our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can at any time:

• Clear all GoGobo data from your browser using “Clear site data”
• Use the site without sharing any plans (all tools work fully offline in your browser)
• Request deletion of a shared plan by contacting us with the plan's short code

Children

GoGobo is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
